Interesting facts about me
Hello, everyone. My name is Michelle, I am married and have 2 children (11
and 13), 2 step sons (20 and 23) and 2 grandsons. I live in a zoo, well it as close as you can get to a zoo without actually paying admission. 5 Parrots, 2
lovebirds, 2 bearded dragons, 2 snakes, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 bunnies, koi pond and 2 tortoises. I think thats it,lol. My 27 year old brother lives with us as
well, we are helping him out during a difficult time. He has a cat and about a dozen leopard geckos, he is single and looking for someone who enjoys video
games and board games, any takers????
I work as a Occupational Therapy Assistant with a variety of students in the school setting. I am currently on medical leave from work due to back surgery, I hope to return after the new year. I had a lumbar fusion, which is a procedure to remove the disc and then insert rods, screws and artifical bone, to put me back together. This was done the end of August and am now just sitting around waiting for things to heal, the recovery process takes a long time. No bending, lifting, twisting, you basically are allowed to walk and lay flat all day long. Hopefully by 6 months we will see some new bone growth. All we can do is wait and see and hope for it to take.
HHMMMNNN, how do I spend my time ? Well, tons of cleaning and feeding of animals and kids if you didnt guess that allready. Spending time with our new grandson. And of course lots of resting at this point. I am trying to teach my self to knit, this is not going well. I enjoy being outside, working in the garden, camping, rockhounding, and fishing. I also enjoy, doing pottery work, ceramics, stained glass and beading. I hope to get back to these things soon, they are hard to do when you are laying down,lol.
